The Headwall chairlift takes you from under the saddle on Moutain Run up to under and next to the palisades with sun bowl down to your left. With terrain ranging from the steeps of the light towers to the gentle pitch of sun bowl, there is a lot of good terrain ranging from intermediate to advanced. With an unloading dock in full view of the palisades working the unloading dock of headwall provides for a front row seat to endless entertament as people go big in a quest for immortality.

• North Bowl: Lots of fun and when the wind is blowing right can be one of the best spots on the hill. With few hazards and a nice open exist its great for getting some speed going and linking big turns.
  Location: make a right off headwall and follow the trail around to the left. Head under the chairlift at your fist opportunity. Head straight, the ridge will run from left to right as you come up on it.  
             
• Sun Bowl: As its name implies eastern facing Sun Bowl gets a ton of sun. This big bowl has a nice gentle pitch and with the sun sitting on it all day can have great soft snow. However, the sun can also make the snow very heavy and not to fun. Timing is everything when skiing Sun bowl. But if you hit it right it can be good fun in the warm Californian sun, making the traverse out even worth it.
  Location: make a left off Headwall chairlift then head straight. Sun bowl can also be accessed from atop the Palisades and coming down into it.
             
• Light Towers: Some of the steepest and most exhilarating lines in Squaw are found in the Light Towers. Its made up of some great straight liners and some great billy goating in early and late season.
  Location: make left of Headwall and follow the trail down and take the second turn off on your right around the rock formation straight ahead of you.  When you get out to the slot the Light towers will be on your right.
             
• Headwall: Headwall it the face directly under you when you ride up headwall chairlift. There is not much to say about it, it is what it is. Its nice but gets a lot of traffic. Better off heading to the slot located to skiers right.
  Location:  ski back down under the chairlift.
