Daily Report - Wednesday, 10 Jan ‘07

January 12th, 2007 · No Comments

Some clouds have rolled in from the approaching weather system that should roll into the Tahoe area later tonight but there is still plenty of blue sky and the temp should warm up nicely by midday. All and all a great day to go skiing. Most of the hill is still pretty firm from all the skiers that were on the hill this past week. Help is on the way though with a mind blowing 1″ of new snow expected tonight and another 2″ tomorrow. With the snow will come much colder temps. So get up on the hill today and enjoy some skiing before the colder temps roll into Tahoe. See you on the hill.

Afternoon Update:

A weather system from the north is rolling in bringing with it a lot of wind. Most of upper mountain was closed by midday due to wind. It is just now starting to snow but nothing major just a few flakes. Its kinda firm on the hill so lets hope we get some snow out of this system.
