If you visited our home page today you might have noticed this unusual photo of the day:

Ok it isn’t our normal pron shot or scenic photo of the day that we post to satisfy our inner gaper. It was sent to us by our friend Todd at Telstar Logistics for a good reason…we need snow! I’ll let him explain:

“The snowpack in the Lake Tahoe region remains a bit sparce, so it’s time to fall back on the tried-and-true snowmaking techniques that have been handed down to us from our ancestors.

Although the science of this remains a mystery, the historical record is quite clear: Placing your skis (or snowboard) under your bed dramatically increases the likelihood of significant local snowfall.

We. Need. Snow.”

So do a back flip, snow dance, herbal sacrifice… then get those boards under the bed.
