Dale of 3dskimaps.com has listened to our requests to make the flyover feature of his 3D
Squaw Valley map compatible with Mac’s and IE without the need to download or configure any plug-ins.
For new visitors you can learn more about the map at our Unofficial Squaw Trail Guide. Basically Dale took GPS readings of various points on the hill and overlaid them on a 3D map of Squaw Valley. He is still looking to improve the site but it is a refreshing change from the Official Squaw Valley “Mountain Map“.
If you are looking for more official maps that don’t give the SOS, check out Squaw’s 360 Photos, Aerial Maps, and their Grooming Map.
Oh and when you hit the trail don’t forget to bring our friend Spanky’s microfiber trail map.
You can find Dale’s new map here: Squaw Valley 3D
