Daily Report - Friday 9 Feb ‘07

February 9th, 2007 · No Comments

Waking up to Bombs is always a good way of starting off the day.

New Snow
6200: Rain
8200: 11 inches and snowing

Weather
Rain down in the valley with snow up above high camp.
It key today is waterproofing. It’s a wet mess out there but tons of fun.

The Lifts
Man was Squaw slow to get going today. (9:30 start?)
They fired all the liftes so when it snowed today they had no one to run the lifts. B.S.
All of the fun lifts on upper mountain are closed.

The Stash
Shirley was the only terrain that was skiing well today.
Make the high traverse over and above Shirley Bowl till you get all the way over to break it out where the snow is deep and fun.
If they get Granite Chief going that should be awesome!
