Unofficial Squaw Weather
It’s a great day out there.
The skies are cloudy but the temp is nice and the winds are very low.
We had some snow that came in at around 1:00 and was off and on throughout the evening.

Lifts
Granite Chief opened today at around 10 a.m.
All the locals with midweek passes were out in force today and I think that a lot of people from the Bay choose to stay another day to ski some powder.
Headwall opened by the afternoon.

The Stash
Tower 16 opened today for the first time this year but it is heavy snow in there.
Everyone and their mother headed up to GC today so I think that KT might be good for some afternoon skiing.

Headwall opened later in the afternoon. It was pretty good. Visibility was so-so and it was fairly tracked out already because people had traversed over earlier from sibo. I skied KT-22 in the afternoon and there were some gems over by Olympic lady. The snow was wind-blown hardpack with this 2″ layer of dry snow on top. Surprisingly nice
