As some of you already know I took another lick this season when on Sunday morning I crashed and dislocated my shoulder skiing a line off Hogs Back in North Bowl. It was really rocky up there so straightlining was the best course of action to keep your skis from getting to messed up. Dropping in was fine but by midway down it became apparent that I was going way to fast to attack the firm bumps which were laying just beyond the exit door. As I came shooting out I tried to dump speed but did not see a huge F*%#ing traversing rut right under the rock section. I was cutting hard left so when I hit the rut I was kicked back and way off center and like an idiot put my left arm out as I back slapped. Shoulder came out immediately and as the pain shot through my body I stopped fighting my 194 Pro Rides and went right into some high speed kartwheels. I know its not that crazy of a line but sometimes it’s the little ones that will get you.
Big Ups: John and Zack of the Squaw Valley ski patrol for the ride down.
Thanks Guys, I owe you some Beers.
