What A Day

February 26th, 2007 · 1 Comment

What a day. 90% of the hill is totaly bottomless. However, despite Squaw Valley Ski Patrol’s best efforts most of the terrain has been closed, even places like Dead Tree are closed… BUT, where you can ski; The Saddle, West Face, 75, the Alternates, Poulsen’s Gully, Far East Woods, Squaw Creek it’s sick. Going Off as the youngsters say. On days like today you can only appreciate life and give thanks to the skiers of the 90’s who started building Fat Powder boards.

Thanks Guys Powder Skis Rock.

It’s true; the fat boards change everything. If you see Shane McKonkey, give him a big hug… from the rest of us.
