The sky was clear when I got up this morning but since then we have seen some more clouds roll in which is bringing light snow up above 8000 feet. The snow is not nearly as light as yesterday but you can still find some phenomenal pockets of light deep snow but it’s not going to last long, so get out there and get it.
Silverado did not open this morning but might in about an hour (2:30) so most people where heading up into Granite Chief, which was great. They even had the peak open and I saw what looked like one snowboard line through Patrol Chute, Nice*. KT is still skiing good for how much it has been skied yesterday and today. The Enchanted Forest has some of if not the deepest snow I have found on the hill. Headwall is quickly getting trashed so I would head elsewhere.
So whats left? Broken Arrow has some good lines that have not been skied yet. Granite Chief Peak is getting skied out quickly but I think most people are getting to tired to make the hike up to the peak so it should stay good until tomorrow. Pockets of light snow can still be found off Squaw Creek in the trees and SILVERADO is yet to open.
