November 8th, 2007 · 2 Comments

Here are UnofficialSquaw’s 2007 top picks for everyday mid-fats for squaw valley. If you are looking to pick up some powder skis check out our article on Reverse Camber Powder Skier.

Nordica: Enforcer
L: 169, 177, 185 (135-98-125) $715
The Enforcer is a highly versital wood-core ski that provides a stable ride even through ruff crud. With a nice side cut the enforcer is easy to turn at any speed.

Dynastar: Legend Pro Ride
L: 176, 186, 194 (124-97-116) - $1000
I ski on the 194’s so of course I am going to say this is the best ski out there today but here is why. Super fast, super damp and mean as hell. If you are out there charging you will love these skis.

Blizzard: Titan Argos
L: 173, 180, 187, 194 (132-101-118) - $1150
New for 2007, the Titan Argos is a stiff big-mountain tool with a racing background. It maybe hard to find a pair of these but if you can, we suggest you buy.

K2: Seth
L: 169, 179, 189 (130-98-118) - $775
These skis are named after the madman skier himself, Seth Morrison. The Seth’s are a responsive crud busting machine. People love them.

Volkl: Gotama
L: 168, 176, 183, 190 (133-105-124) - $795
Volkl’s dual-layer sensorwood core makes the Gotama a fun ski no mater where you take them. At 133-105-124 these skis have a really nice cut to them.
