Just in case you missed it this weekend. Bode won the combined title for the slalom and the downhill at the World Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria. The most famous slope on the Hahnenkamm is the Streif, regarded as the most demanding racing slope on the world cup.
In training, Bode allegedly accused organizers of making the course bumpier and more dangerous than normal. On Bode’s final run he lost some time in a turn early in the course and tried to speed things up. The extra speed caused him to take a wide that aimed him into a wall. When everybody was thinking he is going to hit the wall, he just pulled off a wall ride to let every know that he is a bad ass mutha:

That has got to be one of the more awesome things ever pulled off in a ski race.
