2008 kicked off with a January that saw 16 powder days and over ten feet of snow on Lower Mountain. The official report put the monthly snowfall total at 185″. The mountain is now filled in nicely with 100% of the terrain ready to roll. Yesterday (January 30) we had a short brake in the weather which allowed for most of the 4000 acres to open. The bluebird skies did not last long and Squaw has once again been plunged into fierce winter weather. Strong winds and a foot and a half on new snow should make for a great start to February.
